Team and Role:

The HR Talent Management & Mobility (TMM) team is responsible for developing skills, leadership pipelines, global mobility, and building agile organizations to support Equinix's growth. This role as a Communications Intern entails building and executing a robust change and communications plan to support the Leadership Development Snapshot program the HR TMM team is looking to expand across Equinix. This program supports one of HR's strategic objectives related to strengthening Equinix people managers' ability to make decisions, drive change and be accountable for business results and the experience of their teams.

Assignments and Responsibilities:

Partner with the Leadership Development Snapshot project leader to complete the following:

  • Track the success of the Leadership Development Snapshot pilot

  • Develop a toolkit outlining how to successfully plan, build, and launch the leadership development snapshot for other teams to utilize if/when needed.

  • Create a thoughtful process/strategy aimed at integrating the Leadership Development Snapshot into business-as-usual programs such as leadership development and onboarding (for both new-to-company and new to role employees).

  • Build and execute a robust change and communications plan to support the Leadership Development Snapshot Program expansion

  • Write communications to include across various communication avenues such as emails, newsletters, etc.

  • Identify functional and cross-functional change implications and escalates as needed

  • Opportunity to network and collaborate with other interns across the globe

Who You Are (Requirements and Qualifications):

  • Must be currently enrolled inan accrediteduniversity/college, in your penultimate year of yourbachelor'sor master's degreestudies(Graduationbetween December 2023-September 2024)

  • Available to work full-timefor the entire duration of the Summer InternshipProgram(betweenMaytoSeptember, depending on your school system)

  • Ability to multi-task and workcollaboratively andeffectively in afast-pacedenvironment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English

  • Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others

  • Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software
