The D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) IT Senior Business Analyst - Finance is to function as an internal ERP implementation team member and aid in the rollout and support of D365 across our REV sites. This position will add value to REV by understanding business process and configure and rollout Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations to the sites while upholding standards and setup so the system is properly configured with minimal customizations. This position will understand ERP and how the systems work and how to implement and set up the software to maximize business processes. The position is responsible for participating in business process design, setup and testing of the system, training users as well as providing support to business users after go live. This position will continue to expand in responsibility as we continue to grow and support D365. This is a remote position, but will require travel to sites domestically during implementation, 10%-50% of the time. This position is specifically finance focused.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the first implementation of D365 Finance and Operations. Work with external vendor that will be assisting with rollout to help understand the setup, configure, and test the system.
  • Become extremely knowledgeable in the setup and configuration of D365 Finance and Operations.
  • Work with business stakeholders and users to understand their needs and requirements and design, configure and implement the system to meet their needs.
  • Leverage technology expertise and prior experience, translate business processes, master data and other operational knowledge into requirements.
  • Document global standards and streamline the process to set up and configure companies that are moving onto the D365 platform, so it can be a repeatable process.
  • Meet with decision makers, system owners and end users to define business, financial and operations requirements and system goals and identify and resolve system issues.
  • Able to manage small projects by identifying issues, requirements and putting together project plans to track and manage.
  • Create system modules, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide directions to system programmers.
  • Provide orientation and training to end users.
  • Maintain systems documentation by writing and updating procedures.
  • Interface with users as well as senior and executive staff levels with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Establish corporate governance. Maintain SOX and legal regulations when implementing and supporting systems.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Able to analyze the gap between a user request and the capability of the support application to determine if a customize is needed or the functionality exists.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency to complete activities during implementation as well as when supplying support
  • Comfortable travelling to business sites and working with teams to complete implementations.
  • Some basic programming skills to pull data out of system.
  • General knowledge of network, PC operations system, network hardware, protocol, and standards.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Able to travel domestically with a travel requirement based on implementation schedule (10 - 50% of time).

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience required.
  • Typically requires 6+ years of related experience.
  • Previous ERP experience in implementation of Microsoft AX, or similar ERP. Prefer D365 Finance and Operations, but willing to train if the right candidate is found.
  • Work experience, such as a manufacturing, financial, or supply chain analyst or controller in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of configuration and Salesforce CRM a plus

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to communicate telephonically and electronically with team members and customers.
  • Must be able to hear/understand/speak with team members at all levels within a diverse workforce.
  • Must be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including the ability to travel by air/auto to remote sites.
  • Must be able to work in front of a personal computer for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift documents/work materials up to 50 pounds in weight..

Work Environment/Conditions:

  • Comfortable travelling to business sites and working with teams to complete implementations.
  • The majority of the work is conducted in an office setup connecting on network to manage/administer the applications.
  • This position may involve working in our manufacturing plants when managing IT technologies that are supporting our manufacturing operations.
