Area Sales Manager:

Lennar is seeking an Area Sales Manager to be responsible for sales activity, ensuring volume and goals are achieved in assigned Southeast communities. Responsible for supervising and overseeing work of New Home Consultants.

Candidates with experience working for a homebuilder in New Home Sales strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor and manage individuals and team to ensure top performance of all team members in achieving desired results while finding efficient and effective solutions that create overall organizational value.
  • Assists the Director of Sales and Director of Marketing in all sales related items.
  • Assisting in implementing sales goals and training programs as needed to meet divisions goals.
  • Assists and guides New Home Consultants with sales techniques to achieve maximum sales and customer satisfaction results.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all New Home Consultant's coordinate regularly with other field and office associates to warrant timely closings and satisfied homeowners.
  • Responsible for assisting the escrow coordinator with escrow tracking and issuance of regular sales reports.
  • Reviews and monitors New Home Consultants paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with all DRE guidelines regulations.
  • Responsible for and/or assists in all point of sale disclosures, legal documentation and contractual paperwork.
  • Coordinates escrow company and mortgage lender program.
  • Attends any and all special promotional events for Communities as directed by Dir of Sales and Marketing or Director of Operations.
  • Assists and/or conducts sales meetings involving New Home Consultants and escrow update meetings.
  • Assists in problem solving escrow and closing issues between all parties, i.e escrow coordinator, new home consultants, field associates, escrow companies, lenders, title companies, customers and homeowners and Division associates.
  • Must keep management informed on a continual basis of changes, potential problems and outstanding issues and concerns.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by Director of Sales and/or Division President.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in residential sales, management and/or real estate management
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver's license and a good driving record
  • Candidates with experience working for a homebuilder in New Home Sales strongly preferred.
  • Valid Auto Insurance coverage
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to deal effectively with confrontational situations and maintain objectivity in associate, public relations and homeowners interactions
  • Strong management and motivational skills
  • Diplomacy and good public presence
