GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Lead Project Designer for our Homestead or Cranberry, Pennsylvania, or Orlando, Florida, offices. A successful candidate is one who uses engineering principles and design software helps to design and develop plans for civil infrastructure projects.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Participates in technical studies, design, preparation of specifications, and technical plans.
  • Filling out and completing permit applications for processing.
  • Construction administration support including field observation reports.

Experience and Education:

  • Performs work under minimal supervision.
  • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
  • May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
  • Requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 4 to 6 years of experience.
