We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport's growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The Role

Reside on a full-time basis (scheduled days off excluded) at the USTA National Campus Orlando, Florida.
• Enforce facility policies and procedures set forth by Director, Training Center Operations.
• Implement and support designated off-court life skills and educational activities for the athletes at the USTA National Campus and/or participate in the USTA Training Center Program.
• Frequent local transportation of players with the USTA van.
• Monitor and control guest access with regards to Player Development entry. Administer player and guest check-in for Player Development with full knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Serve as the primary resource for building a positive and comfortable environment at the USTA Training Center.
• Become personally acquainted with each athlete who resides at the USTA Training Center and be readily available to assist student-athletes with personal and academic concerns.
• Regular interaction with the parents/guardians of the athletes in the USTA Player Development Program at the USTA Training Center.
• Ensure compliance with USTA SafePlay policies.
• Assist with the general upkeep of Player Development facilities including basic cleaning and general maintenance.
• Assist with communication with the USTA National Campus' official medical provider to address and player medical concerns.
• Provide proactive and dynamic support to the Manager, Player Services.
• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

Required

• Must be at least 21 years-old
• Experience working with/supervising youth
• Clean driving record

Preferred:

• RA Experience
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Tutoring/mentoring experience
• Position is an hourly/non-exempt

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $35,000 - $40,000.

This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
